Ron DePeter grew up in Maine and has taught first year and upper level composition courses, as well as themed courses such as Writing about Animals and Themes in Country Music. Ron has published essays on teaching and writing in The Practice of Response, Elements of Alternate Style, Writing Spaces, and Writing on the Edge. His essay on Hayley Mills and the movie That Darn Cat appears in the anthology, Walt Disney: From Reader to Storyteller (McFarland, 2014).
