Carolyn Ball

Professor Emetius

Carolyn Ball is a Profesor Emeritus.  Her specialties are human resources, performance measurement, and local government.  She regularly teaches Managing Government and Nonprofits, Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Managing Cities Towns and Counties, and Measuring Performance Measures in Nonprofit and Public Sectors.  She has spearheaded the efforts of the program to create a course that combines an internship with academic learning to prepare students for careers in local government. She’s proud that many students have turned internships into careers. She currently serves on the Selectboard for the Town of Southwest Harbor.
