Dr. Sacha Shaw, Ph.D., BCBA-D (She/Her/Hers) received a Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University and completed her doctoral training at Endicott’s Institute of Applied Behavioral Sciences. While on the teaching staff at Endicott, she served on the Quality and Assurance and Diversity Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging committees, where she participated in several initiatives to increase quality and inclusion practices. She won the Excellence in Teaching Award for her dedication to quality teaching and researching best teaching practices in higher education. Dr. Shaw has written book chapters and briefs to disseminate evidence-based practices for learners diagnosed with Autism and has completed several experimental studies to establish quality evidence-based teaching strategies in higher education.

Before moving to Maine, she worked in private and residential facilities in Massachusetts and focused on skill acquisition and function-based behavioral interventions for students diagnosed with ASD. For a brief time, she was the only BCBA living on the continent of Africa, where she worked with an American Affiliate to spread ABA services within South Africa. Dr. Shaw currently provides training and consultation to public schools. Within this role, she conducts applied behavior analytic assessments and initiates systematic behavioral and skill programming for learners diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and other social and emotional challenges. She also engages school staff in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support practices and evidence-based classroom improvement processes.
