Men's Volleyball Head Coach 

Education

Hill graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree of English as well as receiving his Maine State teaching certification.

The first official head coach in the history of the University of Southern Maine men’s volleyball club program, Kevin Hill, begins his 2nd season as the official head coach heading into the 2024 season, and 6th season running the program. Hill started the men’s volleyball club in the fall of 2018 as an incoming first year student at the University of Southern Maine and served as the team coach, team captain, and club president for all four years he was enrolled at University leading up to his graduation year of 2022. In the first four years of the program, Hill led the Huskies from a 2-10 inaugural season, to an appearance in the 2022 NCVF Collegiate National Championships placing 5th in Division II, losing to Fairfield University in the National quarter finals. Following graduation, Hill took on the role of solely being the head coach for the 2023 season and returned for the 2024 season with hopes to return to the national tournament. Coach Kevin Hill still competes competitively in Yankee Volleyball Tournaments through NERVA, an affiliate of USA Volleyball, as well as the AVP Grass Tour during the summer season. Alongside coaching at USM, Hill now serves as a 5th grade teacher at Sanford Middle School and is the head coach for the Sanford High School Varsity Volleyball team and runs youth volleyball clinics and camps throughout the year.
