Originally from Southern California, Savanna relocated to Maine last year in search of new experiences and a more relaxed lifestyle. This move marked her next chapter following a successful academic journey that began with earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from California State University San Bernardino in 2020 and a Master of Science in Higher Education from the University of Kentucky in 2023.

Savanna has worked in various areas of higher education over the past eight years, including academic advising, residence life, greek affairs, student success, and student activities. As someone who values professional growth, she has had the honor of presenting and facilitating at various conferences, sharing her insights on student leader development and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and vibrant learning environment that empowers students to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

In her free time, Savanna enjoys photography, reading, playing tennis, tap dancing, and exploring the East Coast. You also might see her around campus walking her dog, Dulce, the sweetest little girl who loves meeting new friends.
