Adult Student Success Coach
Gina graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Southern Maine in 2005, and went on to complete a Master of Science in Management from Simmons University in Boston in 2016. They have worked in several student affairs roles throughout their career, and returned to USM in 2023 to serve as the University’s Adult Student Success Coach.
In this role, Gina serves undergraduate students aged 24+, who have come to USM to complete their certificate or first bachelor’s degree program. Additionally, they can provide support for students who are 18-24 and have filed independently on their FAFSA, have a dependant other than a spouse, and/or have delayed enrollment in college after high school for a reason other than a gap-year activity.

If you are a USM adult undergraduate student, please consider reaching out to Gina for support if you are:
- Hoping to connect with peers and get involved at USM
- Having a hard time acclimating to college life
- Needing resources or help navigating the university
- Struggling with academic or technological challenges
- Experiencing difficult circumstances that are impacting your studies
