Andrew Stesienko

Andrew Stesienko works hard to keep a foothold at the intersection of literature and business. He earned English degrees at the College of Charleston, the University of Arizona, and the University of New Hampshire, where he wrote a dissertation examining how early modern revenge tragedies reflect Stoic philosophies for managing emotion. In addition to his scholarly and teaching career, he has worked as a copywriter for leading national companies, including the New York Stock Exchange and Discount Tire. He currently operates a soap hobby business that strives to spread hygiene and happiness throughout New England. At USM, Andrew enjoys helping composition-centric humanities majors learn to recognize occupational opportunities and adapt their academic writing skills to positions in the contemporary workplace.
