In her 10+ years in public health, Amanda has pursued her interests in infectious disease and access to health care services as a Research Associate at USM’s Cutler Institute and a Grants Specialist at Partners In Health. She is motivated to teach at USM because of the valuable networking opportunities she experienced as a student at Muskie. Amanda believes that field experience placements are perfect for exploring different career paths and building connections in the public health community. Outside of work, she can be found running, reading, and chasing after her toddler.
