Joseph Zamboni, JD, MPH, MPPM

Joe is an experienced organizational leader and policy development expert with a background in local, state, and federal government. He currently serves as one of the Chief Operating Officers at the Maine Department of Health and Human Services as well as a Public Health Advisor with the federal Department of Health and Human Services, under the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. After practicing law, Joe attended the Muskie School for both the MPH and MPPM programs. He didn’t stray too far, as he still lives just a stone’s throw from the Portland campus. Joe has taught at multiple institutions but prefers his alma mater the most.
