After two decades of experience in the grassroots, nonprofit, and countercultural arts sectors, Julia’s professional focus lies at the intersection of creative entrepreneurship and independent publishing. She earned her MFA from Columbia College Chicago and her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Three years ago, Julia moved to Maine as a Residential Fellow at the Lunder Institute for American Art at Colby College. Julia is an independent artist with a strong affinity for zines, cassette tape media, and WMPG Radio.
