Stacy Stewart grew up on Chebeague Island, Maine — which means she knows something about charting your own course.

As a Senior Career Advisor at USM’s Career & Employment Hub, she’s been helping USM students and alumni figure out what’s next since 2004. Her approach is practical, personal, and a little bit no-nonsense: she meets you where you are, whether that’s staring down a blank resume or negotiating your first offer. She works across all majors — nursing, business, STEM, psychology, social work, education, and more — and brings deep expertise in assessments, career exploration, and job search strategy.

Stacy is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator and holds certifications in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, CliftonStrengths, and more. Translation: she has a lot of tools to help you figure out where you’re headed — and how to get there.

Stacy’s teaching experience includes HRD 110: Choices, Changes & Careers, FYE 188: College and Career Success, and USM 103: Career Strategies. Stacy also co-coordinates the FYE 188 courses and co-wrote the textbook.
