Danny is a director, educator, and arts leader who teaches acting, musical theatre performance, and the business of performing arts. A native Mainer, Danny moved back in 2020 after living in Boston for over a decade. While there, he was the Founder/Executive Producing Artistic Director of the Create. Inspire. Change. Theater Company, a professional theater whose mission was to bring theater to underserved students and families. He also served as the Director of Theater at The Performing Arts Connection, a large full-service performing arts studio in the Boston suburbs. Danny is a proud associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, a national labor union representing stage directors and choreographers. His students can be seen on Broadway and in regional theaters across the country, as well as on TV shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Danny is also a licensed attorney in Maine and works with the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project in their Protection From Abuse and Workers’ Rights Clinics. Danny’s focus in law school was the nexus between creativity and the law, and he brings those experiences back to his students. Later this year, Danny will be a “Designated Meisner Teacher” from the Meisner Institute, and he uses his robust experience in dance and voice as a performer and director to help musical theatre students marry the three disciplines to craft compelling and holistic performances.
