Frances works on the Youth and Community Engagement (YCE) team at the Catherine Cutler Institute. There, she spends most of her time with the Youth Leadership Advisory Team (YLAT), which aims to improve both the short-term and long-term outcomes for transition-aged youth in foster care. She facilitates and acts as a mentor for two monthly meetings, one in Bangor and the second in Rockland, which bring together youth in care and adult partners to build community, connect youth with meaningful resources, and learn skills that will last a lifetime.
She has a passion for helping young people find their voice and confidence, so they can use their stories to bring about positive change and become leaders in their own lives and communities. She is committed to building safe and welcoming communities where youth can be themselves while growing into who they aspire to be.
