Jason James White

Jason is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine (USM), where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Originally hailing from Spokane, Washington, Jason moved to Portland, Maine, in 2009 after spending a decade in Kona, Hawaii. During his time in Kona, he gained valuable experience working as a buyer for a kitchen store and graduated from a meditation school, which he humorously refers to as possibly being a cult. 

In 2025, he joined University Counseling Services as an Administrative Specialist, where he fulfills various roles, including fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the office and ensuring tea times are observed at 3 PM. Outside of work, Jason enjoys rewatching episodes of Murder She Wrote, planning his next adventure abroad, and savoring Banh Mi sandwiches with friends of Friends Collective (FC). In the Fall of 2026, he will begin pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) at USM
