Leonard Brown

Resident Director, Philippi Hall

Office of Residential Life

Leonard is originally from Jamaica and migrated to the United States in 2014. He earned a
Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2022 and a Master of Science in Leadership and
Administration in 2024, both from Boston College.
Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, Leonard held several leadership roles and
actively engaged with students from diverse backgrounds. While pursuing his master’s degree,
he also served as a Resident Assistant for two years. In addition, he gained valuable experience
working in student services, admissions, and academic advising. These roles deepened his
passion for higher education and solidified his commitment to supporting college students
through their academic and personal development. Leonard is especially dedicated to fostering
an inclusive community where all voices are valued and respected.
Outside of work, Leonard enjoys playing video games, basketball, and soccer. He’s an avid
anime fan—One Piece holds the top spot on his list—and he also loves traveling, listening to
music, and cooking.
