Lex Abbatello

Lex is originally from Westbrook, Maine. She began working for the University of Southern Maine in 2025 as an Academic Advisor. Lex advises art, technology, engineering, and social work students.

Lex attended Emerson College in Boston, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in her self-designed major: Health Communication and Promotion. After graduation, she spent several years working in public health education for community-based and federally funded programs like WIC and SNAP-Ed, as well as harm reduction.

In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies and shows, listening to music, photography/videography, board games, brain games (think NYT and language learning), trying new restaurants, thrifting, and spending time with friends and family.
