Emerson (Emery) Addams is a clinical intern, pursuing their Master’s in Social Work at the University of Southern Maine. Previously, they earned their B.A. in International Development from Clark University of Worcester, Massachusetts. Emery has a wide range of experience in education, community mental health, and public health. They have a strong interest in the intersection of social work, public health, and social justice.

Emery takes a strengths-based, solution-focused approach and draws from multiple modalities, including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. They understand that many of our personal struggles are connected to structural problems, and integrate community-based resourcing into their practice.

In their free time, Emery enjoys gardening, crafting, watching the shenanigans of their cats Jinx and Hank, and going on adventures with their partner.
