Milena Germon

Milena Germon (they/she) is a clinical intern pursuing their Masters of Social Work at the University of Southern Maine. Prior to entering the social work world, Milena’s background of study was primarily focused on migration, public health, and gender/sexuality. Milena uses this structural perspective to inform their individual clinical practice.

When she’s not providing counseling, Milena is most likely working on her research, which aims to assess the preparedness of medical providers in Maine working with LGBTQ+ immigrants. On days off, she may be found walking local trails, DJ-ing at WMPG, or cooking a new recipe.
