Marion Fearing

Raised in South Portland, Maine, Marion joined the University of Southern Maine in 2025 after spending many years as a bookseller and assistant editor. She has a BA in English from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts and an MA in Publishing Media from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, UK. In her current role as Transfer and Academic Coordinator, Marion supports the transfer student population, assists with transfer evaluations, and maintains various databases. In her free time, she is an avid reader and crafter, and loves exploring the many hiking trails Maine has to offer.
