Paula Goldberg is a storyteller and educator whose work is driven by a fascination with complex characters and authentic worlds. Her career spans corporate America, academia, and the arts, where she has worked as a content writer, actor, screenwriter, producer, and director. Her credits include the feature screenplay The Perfect Family, starring Kathleen Turner and Emily Deschanel; the stop-motion animated short film Kinder Doll (2025); and JJ (2025), an award-winning short film exploring the foster care system. She wrote and directed Perfidy, a Daily Short Pick of the Week starring Julie Benz and Sasha Roiz (2020), wrote the short screenplay Kleen, starring Melora Walters and premiering at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival (2019), and directed two micro-shorts for XV Anthology. Additional directing credits include the third season of the Roland Joffé-produced MTV series Undressed and the creation of the original web series Inappropriate Workplace.

Paula’s most recent feature screenplay, Unimaginable, was selected for The Women’s List 2024 and named a semifinalist in both the Cynosure Screenwriting Awards and the Dallas International Screenwriting Competition. She is currently collaborating with producer Nene Nwoko and director Imole J.O. Ladipo on several 2026 projects, including the short drama The Woman on the Other Side, her original feature screenplay A Reason for the Season, and the feature film Hearts and Other Stolen Things.
