Heather White

Heather White is a graduate student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Southern Maine. She joins the Counseling Services team as the Campus Outreach & Program Specialist. Heather holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Northeastern University and a BA in Sociology and Spanish from Clark University.

Prior to beginning her time at USM, Heather held development and communications roles in the international nonprofit sector, working for organizations focused on education, women’s empowerment, and healthcare access. She lived in Guatemala for four years and has spent extensive time in Latin America.

Outside of school and work, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors—running, biking, and hiking throughout Maine and New Hampshire. She also loves exploring local trails and beaches with her dog, Luna!
