Sherry Phillips Gleason, CCEP, Director of Conference Services, has been with USM and Conference Services since 1993. Sherry has worked in every aspect of the Conference operation and can provide a calm and gracious presence as well as a comprehensive view of any event. While she specializes in large-scale events, strategic scheduling and innovative use of space, Sherry excels at creating a collaborative atmosphere.
When the Abromson Community Education Center opened in 2005, Sherry took on a leadership role as well as the day to day logistics of the building. She received her Certified Conference Event Professional certification in 2008 and was recertified in 2020.
