Dr. Provost has overseen the undergraduate nursing program at The University of Southern Maine since 2017 and teaches in the undergraduate Honors minor. Originally from Maine, Dr. Provost spent a decade in Indiana where she earned her Masters and Doctorate in Philosophy from Purdue University and later served as faculty in philosophy and Director of the Honors program at Indiana University Kokomo. Dr. Provost’s teaching interests include biomedical ethics, applied ethics, philosophy of technology, phenomenology, and Eastern philosophy. She is dedicated to anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in higher education and actively incorporates these into her teaching and administrative roles.
