Aja was born and raised in Maine and is a proud alumni of the University of Maine at Orono. She started working at USM in 2021, and has loved her time with the Husky Community. After high school, Aja spent some time in New York City studying theatre at Marymount Manhattan College where she majored in Theatre History and minored in Women and Gender Studies. Aja then transferred to UMO where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a minor in Education. She is an Administrative Specialist for the Office of Registration and Scheduling services where she provides registration assistance to USM students and processes graduation certifications and change of majors and minors for the College of Science, Technology, and Health
In her free time Aja loves to listen to true crime podcasts, read mystery novels, take care of her plants, knit, and spend time with her partner, Owen. Feel free to stop by her office with any registration questions you may have, or to just chat books and plants. She will gladly tell you all about her most recent propagations!
