Andrea holds a Master of Science in Education and a BA in Human Development and American Studies, with a Certification in Public Policy. She joined the Catherine Cutler Institute following an extensive tenure working in the public school system as an Extended Learning Opportunities Coordinator, specializing in connecting students with community-based programs and internships that provided vital protective factors and allowed them to pursue their interests in unique ways. She also created many new programs tailored to students’ needs to help them explore and pursue their interests.
Andrea’s diverse background includes leading staff equity trainings, mentoring high school students, and teaching middle school. She has also contributed to multiple research and policy internships focused on healthcare and education equity. She is passionate about ensuring all youth have access to tailored supports—particularly early intervention programs that foster community connection. In her current role, Andrea supports a variety of projects with the Place Matters and Data Innovation Project teams, including the Regional Care Teams initiative.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys community theater, kayaking, and cross-country skiing.
