Andrew Bossie ’07

Andrew first learned the power of community to make a better tomorrow while studying political science at the University of Southern Maine. As an undergrad, he served in various leadership roles in the USM Student Government Association and in successful statewide ballot initiatives to advance LGBT equality and higher education affordability. After graduating in 2007, Andrew has gone on to lead various Maine nonprofits working to improve community health, elections and government, and stand up new public lands in northern Maine. Joining the USM Foundation in 2022, he works with staff, alumni, and community members to support the aspirations of students, families, and communities connected to USM.  Andy lives in Portland with his husband; he enjoys getting outdoors, exercising, and getting creative in the kitchen.
