Ariel Cohen-Perry
Associate Registrar for Registration, Records, and Policy
Ariel joined the USM Community in late 2018 and is still getting used to navigating Maine Winters. She is a UMF alum holding a B.F.A in Creative Writing ‘10 and also holds an MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts in San Francisco ‘13. Prior to joining the USM Community she worked in the Entertainment Industry in Los Angeles in a top commercial talent agency and as a Restaurant Manager.
Ariel currently works in the Portland Office of Registration & Scheduling Services as one of the Associate Registrars where she oversees Registration, Policy, and Records. In her spare time: Ariel is an avid reader and writer of fantasy/sci fi books; enjoys spending time outside with her dog; video gaming; and traveling with her husband Tyler who she met at an Improv audition at UMF in early 2006.
