Bethany Arsenault

Prior to joining the Cutler Institute in January 2021, Bethany began her professional career in 2002 as a social worker for the State of Maine, Office of Child and Family Services after completing her undergraduate degree in psychology. She later received a Master’s degree in social work in 2009. She dedicated over 18 years of service, both as a caseworker and a supervisor, to the children and families of the state of Maine.
Additionally, Bethany was involved for 7 years with the Youth Leadership Advisory Team as an adult partner and has experience as a foster/adoptive parent. She brings this unique lens and experience into her role at the Catherine Cutler Institute as a facilitator of the Foundations training to new child welfare caseworkers as they begin their careers.
