Bri is a clinical intern on the Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling track at the University of Southern Maine. She has a background in education and currently works in the nonprofit sector, teaching vocational English to New Mainers and hosting community support groups grounded in expressive arts. Her experiences as an educator and working alongside people from diverse backgrounds have shaped her interest in counseling and her hope to eventually work with adolescents and Native and Indigenous youth.

Bri brings curiosity, warmth, and a person-centered, strengths-based approach to the counseling relationship. She enjoys working with people as they navigate life changes, relationships, identity, and periods of growth and uncertainty. Bri believes in the power of our stories and in recognizing and drawing on the strengths within our experiences. She also emphasizes multicultural context, recognizing how family, culture, community, systems, and environment can shape our experiences and how we understand ourselves. She strives to create a space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore what is meaningful to them.

Outside of counseling, Bri loves being in and around the ocean, especially kiteboarding and surfing. She also enjoys dancing, spending time outdoors, and creative activities.
