Bruno Panunzio
Bruno Panunzio is a versatile guitarist and educator with experience spanning classical, flamenco, and South American musical traditions. He has performed as a soloist and ensemble musician in Italy, Spain, and throughout the United States, and has traveled extensively to Seville and southern Spain to study flamenco guitar with Gerardo Núñez, Manuel Valencia, and Yago Santos.
His training includes masterclasses with Adam del Monte, Álvaro Pierri, and Meng Su, and he was a performing artist with Chamber Music Silicon Valley as a member of the Emerging Artist Fellowship during their 2018–2019 concert series. He is also a member of the South Bay Guitar Society in the Bay Area, California, where he regularly presents technique workshops for their annual Guitar Festival.
As a recording artist, Panunzio has released two solo guitar albums, Tarde Azul (2022) and
Sincronismo (2024).
Panunzio holds a Bachelor of Music degree from San Francisco State University and a
Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied
classical guitar with Lawrence Ferrara and Sergio Assad. In his teaching, he emphasizes
strong technical foundations, stylistic awareness, and musical independence, supporting
students across a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.
