Casey is a Research Assistant II with the Violence Against Women Act Measuring Effectiveness Initiative (VAWA MEI) where she assists in data cleaning and analysis as well as providing technical assistance to grantees.
She joined the team shortly after earning a BS in Sociology from Salem State University, where she also worked as a Supplemental Instructor for the course statistics for the social sciences, and tutor for the sociology department and Writing Center.
Her interests include how data and theory can effectively inform policy outcomes and decision-making to better understand social problems.
Outside of work, Casey lives for the beach, sewing, absorbing history, and spending time with her partner thrifting around Maine.
