Casper Cowan (He/Him), originally from Westbrook, Maine, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, where he studied Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality studies. As a student, he worked as the primary organizer for a litany of sexual assault, domestic violence, and sexual education support events, working closely with the campus and community partners to provide resources to peers.
In his role as a Confidential Resource Advisor, Casper focuses on holistic wellness, highlighting the vast range of challenges survivors of sexual assault or interpersonal violence may experience. He hopes to provide students, staff, and faculty with the resources and space to navigate their healing journeys at their own pace.
In his free time, you can usually find Casper enjoying the outdoors, kayaking, tidepooling, gardening, or generally exploring. A long-time plant dad, crafter, and lover of bright colors, stop by his office for a little dose of whimsy, or his best dad joke of the day!
