Catherine Gunn
Senior Data Resources Coordinator, Disability and Aging Program
Catherine Gunn is a Senior Data Resources Coordinator in the Disability and Aging program area of the Catherine Cutler Institute. She has worked with the collection, management, and analysis of healthcare data for multiple projects and initiatives for more than 20 years. Project work includes directing the ongoing case mix reimbursement program for residential care facilities, nursing homes, and adult family care homes based on the Minimum Data Set, and the yearly production of Maine’s data dictionary of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS).
Her work has involved the development and testing of various health structures, administrating secure web portals for the collection and dissemination of health data, production of user guides, and conducting trainings for the systems through webinars, live trainings, and one‐on-one trainings.
Catherine serves as the first contact for all health care providers, assisted living facilities, software vendors, and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services for any questions and technical needs for these systems.
