Celia Jewell is a Policy Analyst II at the Catherine Cutler Institute’s Maine Rural Health Research Center where her recent work has focused on quantitative analysis of national survey data to examine relationships between poverty and health for rural and urban residents.
As a member of the Flex Monitoring Team, she conducts policy analysis, evaluation, and applied research in the areas of critical access hospital financial and operational improvement, quality improvement, population health, and EMS.
She previously worked as a nurse in the critical care, oncology, and community health setting and as a program manager for a palliative medicine practice.
