After 10 years of experience working in children’s mental health services and special education, Chandler came to USM looking for a career change to study ASL/English Interpreting, graduating in 2021 with a BA. Since 2021 Chandler worked as an ASL interpreting services scheduler and ASL/English Interpreter with Pine Tree Society before returning to USM in Fall of 2024 as the department ASL/English Interpreter.
