Clara Perka, MA

Clara, a 2020 alum of the Women and Gender Studies Program, is the Administrative Specialist CL3 for WGS. She completed her M.A. in Leadership Studies in 2022, doing her thesis on the role of WGS programs in the development of feminist leadership practices and is now a doctoral student in the Leadership Studies Program. In Spring 2023, she took on the role of part-time faculty, teaching Feminist Yoga.

Clara is the current Vice-President for the Associated COLT Staff of the University of Maine (ACSUM) at the system level, and is grievance representative and Portland campus representative for the ACSUM USM chapter.

Clara also serves on the Bias Response Team and is a certified trainer with NCBI, the National Coalition Building Institute.
