Cody Rohde

Cody Rohde is originally from the “Downeast” area of Maine, having grown up in Baileyville, Calais, and Robbinston. He began his academic career at the University of Southern Maine in 2014 and has called the greater Portland area home for many years, currently residing in Hollis Center.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in History with minors in Elementary Education and Communications and Media, Cody began his career at USM in 2021 with the Student Financial Services office. In 2026, he transitioned to Academic Advising, where he primarily works with students in Health and Exercise Science and Occupational Therapy. Cody is passionate about helping students navigate their academic journeys, identify their goals, and feel supported and confident throughout their time at USM.

Cody is also completing his Master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education at USM, further developing his interests in academic advising, student development, and supporting adult and nontraditional learners.

Outside of his professional and academic work, Cody is an avid fan of the television show Survivor and enjoys following Boston sports. Thanks to family ties, he is also a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Green Bay Packers. In his free time, Cody enjoys playing sports, reading comics, watching movies and television, listening to music, playing video and board games, writing, being around family and friends, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two dogs.
