Dr. Dami Alegbeleye is an award-winning leadership educator, scholar, and consultant. His work is grounded in a central question: How can leaders and followers work together to help teams and organizations thrive? His research explores collaborative and relational approaches to leadership, with particular interests in shared and distributed leadership, teamwork, collaborative problem-solving, transformational leadership, and followership.
His scholarship has appeared in the Journal of Management Development, Journal of Leadership Studies, and Journal of Leadership Education, as well as in book chapters and numerous conference proceedings. He regularly presents his research at academic and professional conferences and has received multiple Best Conference Paper Awards.
Beyond his academic work, Dr. Alegbeleye works with organizations and professionals to translate leadership research into practice through leadership development consulting. He is an active member of the International Leadership Association and the Association of Leadership Educators, where he currently serves as co-chair of the Leadership Studies Research Member Group.
