Desiree has worked at The University of Southern Maine since 2017 and in Counseling Services for about 2 years. She manages the health insurance billing for Counseling Services and assists the director of the department with various projects.
When she is not at USM, she volunteers for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She provides training, facilitates groups, supports fundraising, and serves on their board.
Desiree has lived in Maine since 1989 and has been married for 30 years. She is an animal lover who currently owns two cats (or should she say the cats own Dez). In her spare time she especially enjoys “crafting” and hanging out at the beach.
