Fleur Hopper joined USM’s Catherine Cutler Institute of Health and Social Policy in 2015. Since then, Ms. Hopper has worked on several state and federal epidemiology and evaluation projects, primarily in maternal and child health. She currently leads the Maternal and Child Health epidemiology team at the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (MECDC) and serves as the Principal Investigator for Maine’s Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program’s Coordinated State Evaluation.
Prior to transitioning to a career in public health, Ms. Hopper worked for over a decade as a clinical social worker, providing mental health treatment across a variety of settings, including social service agencies, public schools, and higher education.
