Grace Grimmel-Flash

Grace grew up locally in central Maine. She began her journey working for the University of Southern Maine in 2022, guiding prospective students and families in the Admissions department as a Student Ambassador and tour guide. Grace completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine. After graduation, Grace spent 8 months working for a local non-profit agency supporting individuals in aging and disability services. 

Grace returned to her alma mater in 2026 and holds the Administrative Specialist (CL3) position in the Portland, Advising department. In her role she works closely with students, academic advisors and other university staff to coordinate student experience and support students on their academic journey. Her experience in education, community service, and working with others have shaped her passion for connecting with and supporting people in her community. 

Grace is currently pursuing a Graduate degree within the university.In her free time, Grace enjoys thrifting, arts and crafts, going to the gym and most importantly spending time with her family, friends and cat, Leonard.
