Jennifer has an A.B. in Art from Mount Holyoke College and an M.Ed. from Antioch University. She is currently a USM doctoral student in Public Policy with a concentration in Educational Leadership, studying youth engagement in education policy making. Jennifer has also studied Transformative Therapeutic Arts at the Tobias School for Art and Therapy and earned a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Business School & Harvard Graduate School of Education. Jennifer’s career in education developed in Maine, Colorado, and NYC schools, growing from school art therapist to elementary and middle school teacher to assistant director of curriculum and instruction to co-principal/director of education and then school director. In addition to her work at CEPARE/MEPRI, she is the co-founder and executive director of The Source School, which works with teachers, youth, and their schools to build connection and collaboration for thriving. Jennifer is the parent of three grown daughters and lives with her husband in Freeport.
