Karen Bergeron

Karen has been in the field of Early Care and Education since 1991. During that time, she has worked in Center-based Child Care, Early Intervention, Home Visiting, and state-level administration.

Karen holds a master’s degree from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.

In her role as the Statewide Quality Initiatives Manager, Karen provides leadership, management, and coordination of the Quality Initiatives and special projects that support the State of Maine’s Quality Rating and Improvement System initiatives (QRIS).
