Katelyn Miller

After getting a bachelor’s degree in Zoo and Wildlife Biology, Ms. Miller spent three years
working in aquatic natural resource management, monitoring and conserving game species
and endangered species, vertebrates and invertebrates. She spent the following three years
pursuing a master’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, where her research
focused on freshwater mussel population genetics and ecology. In her most recent position
with the Maine Department of Marine Resources, she worked with nearshore marine species
of commercial importance to support Maine natural resource policymaking
