Katherine Reynolds

Katherine joined the Military-Affiliated Student Hub team in 2022 and is learning more about the student veteran experience every day. While she has developed a strong knowledge of veteran benefits and VA processes, she still empathizes with the overwhelm of learning about the system for the first time. Katherine is passionate about building trust, connecting military-affiliated students with the right supports, and helping them get the most out of their benefits.

Born and raised in Maine, Katherine earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a focus on interpersonal theories from Stonehill College in Massachusetts. She soon returned home to Portland and enjoys being 20 minutes from a mountain, lake, or ocean at any given time. In 2022, Katherine joined the Veterans Services team at USM and began pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work.
