In 2000, Kathy started work at the University of Southern Maine as an embedded Epidemiologist within the Maine CDC. Since that time Kathy has provided epidemiologic support to the Environmental Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Chronic Disease Programs at the Maine CDC. Currently working with the Environmental Public Health Tracking Program (EPHT), Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Unit (CLPPU), and the Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Surveillance System.
Analytic history includes utilizing data from a broad array of sources; such as MaineCare enrollment data, vital statistics, Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, hospital administrative data, Cancer Registry, and laboratory data.
