Senior Director of Marketing, Enrollment Communication and Brand Strategy
Lauren joined the team at the University of Southern Maine in August 2024 and is excited to return to both Maine and the campus workplace! She has spent most of her career working in international education — having driven marketing, communications, and branding for DIS in Copenhagen, DK for nearly a decade. Prior to that, she worked for CIEE here in Portland, Maine, and IFSA-Butler in Wellington, NZ.
Maine always draws you back, and she is thrilled to have returned to the state where she will now get to experience the wonder of this place through the eyes of the students of USM! She looks forward to working with the marketing team and our stakeholders across the institution on building strategic marketing and communication plans, storytelling, branding, and more.
Outside of work, Lauren loves jogging, XC skiing, and biking her way through the four seasons… coaxing her family along beside her. As well as cooking, and time in gardens, the woods, and in/by/on the sea.
