Leroy Rowe, PhD

Dr. Leroy M. Rowe is an Associate Professor of African American History and Politics in the Departments of History and Political Science. He received his PhD in history from the University of Missouri.

Professor Rowe’s research and teaching interests focus on the social and political experiences of African Americans during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries with an emphasis on race, gender, and sexuality.
