Madison is a Research Analyst II at the University of Southern Maine’s Catherine Cutler Institute, and works across three initiatives: the Justice Policy Program (JPP), the Data Innovation Project, and the Maine Statistical Analysis Center (SAC).
Madison graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2021 with a BA in Forensic Psychology. While there, she had the opportunity to contribute to several research projects related to affordable housing and equitable access to healthcare and childcare in Westchester County, NY. Her senior research project centered on the impact of prison environments across the U.S. on the emotional and physical well-being of formerly incarcerated individuals.
A born Mainer, Madison returned to her home state and worked at a variety of labs, schools, and non-profits before joining the Catherine Cutler Institute. She is passionate about bringing positive, tangible change to youth and families across Maine and is involved in a range of projects at the Institute that reflect this passion. Her experience includes direct work with systems-impacted youth, statistical coding and data analysis, evaluation planning and implementation, and more. Her work is centered around values of accuracy, transparency, applicability, and clarity.
