Melissa has dedicated her career to improving the lives of children and families in Maine. She began her professional career in the field of education, where she provided developmental services to preschool children with autism/developmental delays. Melissa joined the field of Child Welfare in 2007, and she fulfilled a variety of roles during her fourteen years as a social worker for the State of Maine.

Melissa is thankful for the opportunity to use her Child Welfare knowledge and experience while training and contributing to the professional development of newly hired Child Welfare staff.
